The colours of the Olympics

Despite the little bit of boo hoo in the CBC interview I gave last week
( always just trying to keep it real) - we got out and enjoyed the Olympics this weekend!
The spirit that all of the athletes and visitors have given our city is priceless.
It is nice to see a bit a patriotism in Canada and to see the streets of Vancouver hoppin'
Me and Estevan went to our very first HOCKEY GAME!
MAKE SOME NOISE - I think I might have been more excited than he was !!!
What we would really like to do is ride the zip cord over Robson square,
but five hours is just too long to wait.
All of the excitement will be winding down soon and I am a little torn about that.
But it will be nice to have our city back to a bit of normal.

I would like to thank Kathryn Gretsinger for noticing our store window and taking the time to talk with us. A little piece of our conversation is on line. See the window that started the olympic conversation below and click here to listen http://www.cbc.ca/thecurrent/podcast.html
