SKATEBOARD LESSONS FOR XMAS???

Hoping that another mom of a young boy might be able to help.........this is a photo of my Koby(this is Sarah writing, not Angie!). Last year for xmas we bought him his first skateboard. Helmet and pads too.............he was only 4 and a half but he convinced us that he was ready. Well here we are one year later and the skateboard hasn't been touched! He really wants to ride it but he needs some help. Being that he needs nothing for xmas I would love to buy him some lessons. But I can't seem to find any info. out there. So if anyone knows of any skilled skateboarder that would love to teach a very eager almost 6 year old we would love to hire him or her!

FRIENDS FOR LIFE............

Hello, hello..........I have snuck into Angies blog to now become a guest writer once a week, maybe more! My name is Sarah(many of you may remember me from Chick Pea on Commercial Drive as Angie and I shared many many clients back and forth from store to store. I moved Chick Pea to New Westminster 2 years ago and after much thought have left the store and am moving forward with a new consulting business............but my retail addictions are very strong. I love love love to display and love to be around customers so Angie and I agreed that every Friday night I will be in Beansprouts with her for holiday shopping. Tomorrow night will be our 3rd night so please come down for a visit and enjoy special promotions just for the evening(check last blog entry for more details) and we will have treats and drinks to munch on while we chat and shop together..........

My favourite children's shoes now come in some new fabulous colours!

A new shipment of Gucio shoes from Poland have just arrived,

in the box this time are two new colours; dusty lilac and chocolate brown.

Still with the same adorable yellow laces that make these shoes so loveable.

Also, we now have Gucio's up to size 26 (aka sz.10 )

For those of you who haven't seen Gucio shoes . . . they are handmade in Poland, soft leather, light weight, flexible in the right places, stiffened up the back to offer ankle support, wide front foot bed for growing feet - they are the perfect first walking shoes and great for pro walkers too!

Tradeshow in NYC

Nothing like bring back presents from a trip.

This trip was to NYC to the big big big tradeshow in October.

Amongst the sea of children's products I found some beautiful items for Beansprouts that have just arrived.
